SUMENEP, Transmadura.com)  – Bagi sebagian petani di Ambunten bisa tersenyum lantaran har ini cuaca sangat terik, matahari pun bersinar tanpa terhalang awan ataupun mendung.

Kesempatan ini dipergunakan sebaik-baiknya oleh Harsono (52) warga Desa Tambaagung Barat, Kecamatan Ambunten, Kabupaten Sumenep, yang dibantu Babinsa Koramil 0827/10 Ambunten Kopti Ahmad Yulianto untuk menjemur padi.

Koptu Yulianto mengaku ketika musim panen seperti ini dirinya membantu petani menjemur padi sebagai bentuk kemanunggalan TNI dengan rakyat.

“Ini kita langsung jemur hingga mendapatkan tingkat kekeringan yang sesuai dengan harapan kualitasnya menjadi bagus,” ujarnya. Minggu (24/3/2024).

Terlihat Koptu Yulianto meratakan padi yang sedang di jemur, kemudian membolak balikkannya, hingga padi atau gabah kering sempurna.

Menurutnya, penjemuran padi atau gabah tidak hanya sekali, melihat cuaca di Ambunten tidak menentu.

” Ya begini rasanya menjemur gabah, kalau panas seperti ini enak, tinggal dibolak-balik saja. Tapi kalau cuaca tidak menentu, itu yang susah, harus berkali-kali menggelar dan berkali-kali pula mengumpulkan dan menutup dengan terpal,” ungkapnya.

Pihaknya juga berharap, dengan pendampingannya bisa mengurangi beban pekerjaan petani di Tambak Agung Barat.
