Beragam Makanan Khas Sumenep Camilan Tradisional Rengginang Lorjuk

SUMENEP, (TransMadura.com) – Sebagai negara yang terdiri dari berbagai suku dan budaya, Indonesia juga memiliki beragam makanan khas daerah.

Salah satu camilan tradisional khas masyarakat di Pulau Madura Kabupaten Sumenep, adalah rengginang. Camilan ini terbuat dari beras ketan renyah saat digigit mempunyai sensasi rasa tersendiri.

Rasanya sangat gurih lezat dan nikmat serta aromanya sangat khas dibanding rengginang pada umumnya.

Makanan ringan khas lokal berupa Rengginang Lorjuk “Tiga Merpati” menjadi menu saat hari raya idul fitri khususnya warga Kecamatan Pragaan, Kabupaten Sumenep, Madura, Jawa Timur.

Sampai sekarang, rangginang masih jadi makanan suguhan sebagian masyarakat di acara tertentu, seperti Hari Raya. Malah, kini rengginang semakin mudah ditemui.

“Satu bungkus rengginang mentah dibanderol Rp 22.000. Isi satu bungkus sekitar 40 keping,” kata pengusaha rangginang Desa Prenduan, Moh. Saleh.

Terang mantan Kades ini, keseragaman harga sengaja dibuat agar tidak ada perang harga antar sesama pengrajin.

Meski para pengrajin mengaku kompak atau satu suara, jelas pengusaha sukses ini, dalam hal harga, masing-masing perajin tetap tak mau berbagi racikan bumbu. “Khas rasa kan beda beda ditiap pengrajin,” Contohnya.

Dia mengklaim, rasa rengginangnya berasal dari olahan resep yang dipertahankannya sejak pertama kali terjun ke usaha ini dengan rasa khas.

“Produksi rengginang pasti meningkat, disaat menjelang Lebaran, bisa memproduksi rengginang hingga 10.000 bungkus. “Berapa pun bikinnya akan ludes semua,” ungkapnya.
