SUMENEP, (TransMadura.com) – Untuk menciptakan lingkungan sehat dan yang bersih, Dinas Lingkungan Hidup (DLH) Sumenep, Jawa Timur, berkerjasama dengan PT. Garam (Persero) Kalianget, melakukan gerakan bersih sampah di sepanjang jalan Marengan Laok, Karang Anyar dan Pinggir Papas, Kecamatan Kalianget. Jum’at, (5/3/2020) kemarin.
Gerakan bersih sampah tersebut, sebab ditengarai di daerah tersebut, banyak sampah yang berserakan tidak dibuang pada tempatnya. “Kami melakukan kegiatan itu besama pegawai PT, Garam Persero, besama pegawai DLH” kata Koesman Hadi.
Hal itu dilakukan, kedepan agar masyarakat sadar untuk buang sampah pada tempatnya harus ada keseimbangan peran pemerintah dengan masyarakat. “Tentang pembuangan sampah peran masyarakat juga sangat perlu ada keseimbangan dengan pemerintah,” ungkapnya.
Sehingga, terkait pengelolaan sampah itu, lanjut Koesman, sudah ada rana masing masing. sebab selama dari pihak pemerintah sudah memberikan sarana kebersihan, “Kami DLH sudah memberikan bantuan sarana bak sampah dan juga kontainer dari PT.Garam pada waktu lalu.
Mantan Kadis Kominfo itu, berharap kedepan biar ada perubahan lebih baik agar kesadaran masyarakat membuang sampah pada tempatnya, agar tidak ada keluhan sampah lagi yang berserakan. “Saat ini kesadaran masyarakat sangat kurang tidak membuang sampah pada tempatnya yang sudah disediakan,”jelasnya.
Namun, untuk merubah kesadaran masyarakat itu, pihaknya meminta dimulai dari bawah, yakni RT. RW dikelolah untuk membuang sampah pada tempatnya. “Contoh seperti daerah perkotaan, menunjuk seorang petugas kebersihan yang akan dikelola dibuang ke Tempat pembuangan sementara (TPS).
Sedangkan pemerintah daerah, ranahnya dari TPS membuang ke Tempat Pembuangan Akhir (TPA). ” Masyarakat biar paham rananya masing masing, antara pemerintah dan desa. biar tidak selalu ketika ada sampah berserakan pemerintah yang disalahkan, kesadaran masyarakat juga penting, biar ada sinergi,”
Sementara, jangkauan DLH untuk buang sampah dari TPS di tiga kecamatan, yakni, Kota, Kalianget dan Batuan. sedangkan untuk sekarang sudah melebar jangkauan ke Saronggi, Bluto, Gapura dan lenteng.
“Tapi pembuangan itu DLH hanya mengambil satu titik, di Kecamatan yang dianggap rawan disitulah tempat kontainer. 2020 sudah dianggarkan,” tukasnya.
