Longsor di Desa Gadu Barat ini tergolong tidak terlalu besar, akan tetapi akibat dari longsor bagian tanahnya menutupi sebagian badan jalan sehingga bisa mengganggu warga yang beraktivitas dengan kendaraan.
Meskipun tidak ada korban jiwa dalam kejadian itu, akan tapi kondisi tanah di wilayah itu cukup mengkhawatirkan karena kondisi tanahnya labil dan saat ini curah hujan yang itensitasnya masih sering turun di wilayah Gadu Barat dan sekitarnya.
Danramil 0827/08 Ganding mengatakan, bahwa Koramil bersama wargamemprioritaskan menyingkirkan tanah dan lumpur yang menutupi sebagian badan jalan, diharapkan jalan tersebut bisa segera di lalui kendaraan dan warga bisa beraktivitas kembali seperti semula. Ungkap Kapten Inf Prajoko.
