“Irigasi ini bisa menjadi solusi untuk area sawah yang tidak tercakup air saat musim kemarau tiba, dimana hanya bisa melakukan penanaman padi atau jagung satu kali dalam setahun, ini bisa tiga kali dalam setahun,” ujarnya, Senin (8/4/2024).
Ia mengatakan pembangunan irigasi di Desa Gadu Barat dengan kedalaman sekitar 1 meter, lebar 1,5 meter dan panjang 100 meter.
Proses pengerjaan dilakukan selama kurang lebih satu minggu, mulai dari pagi hari sampai selesai.
“Upaya ini menjadi harapan petani untuk meningkatkan produktivitas tanaman, dan meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat,” tutup Serka Abas Basuki.
