SUMENEP, (Transmadura.com) – Dandim 0827/Sumenep yang diwakili Kasdi Mayor Cba Ari Pamungkas menghadiri pembukaan Kejuaraan Pencak Silat Bupati Sumenep Cup 3 Antar Pelajar SD/Mi, SMP/Mts/, SMA/SMK/MA se Kabupaten.
Kegiatan di gelar oleh Perguruan Silat Nasional (PSN) Perisai Putih Cabang Sumenep Kejuaraan tersebut dilaksanakan mulai tanggal 5-6 Juli 2024, di Lapangan indoor Gor A. Yani Panglegur. Jumat (7/5/2024).
Pembukaan kejuaraan, dibuka langsung oleh Bupati Sumenep Dr. H. Achmad Fauzi Wongsojudo, S.H.,M.H. ditandai dengan pemukulan gong disaksikan seluruh undangan dan para peserta pencak silat.
Kasdim Mayor Cba Ari Pamungkas mengatakan gelaran Kejuaraan pencak silat ini bagian dari upaya melestarikan seni budaya yang dimiliki Indonesia.
“Pencak silat ini bukan hanya sebagai ajang kompetisi, tetapi pencak silat merupakan cabang olahraga yang memiliki nilai seni budaya yang perlu di lestarikan,” pungkasnya.
Kejuaraan pencak silat dimulai pukul 09.00 WIB. Kejuaraan ini juga masuk dalam Calender of Event Sumenep 2024.
Pada Kejuaraan Bupati Cup 3 ini diikuti sebanyak 160 peserta dengan berbagai kategori mulai dari usia dini, pra remaja dan remaja.
