Transmadura.com, Sumenep — Pemerintah Kabupaten Sumenep meminta pengurus Badan Amil Zakat (BAZ) Kabupaten Sumenep untuk meningkatkan komunikasi dengan elemen masyarakat, supaya masyarakat memiliki kepedulian untuk menyalurkan zakat melalui lembaganya.
Bupati Sumenep, Dr. KH. A. Busyro Karim, M.Si mengatakan, pengurus BAZ Kabupaten hingga Unit Pengumpul Zakat (UPZ) Kecamatan, mengajak masyarakat untuk memanfaatkan lembaganya sebagai lembaga penampung dan penyalur zakat fitrah kepada masyarakat.
Itu dilakukan karena selama ini, BAZ Kabupaten dan UPZ Kecamatan menerima dana zakat fitra mayoritas dari kalangan Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) di lingkungan Pemerintah Daerah, sedangkan zakat fitra dari masyarakat sangat minim.
“Saya harapkan ke depan, Pengurus BAZ dan UPZ mempertajam gerakannya lebih maksimal turun ke masyarakat dan mengajak masyarakat untuk menyalurkan zakat, terutama zakat maal di lembaganya, sehingga dana yang trekumpul untuk zakat fitrah tidak hanya kalangan ASN saja. Ini yang harus dilakukan mulai saat ini,”kata Bupati saat penyerahan zaat fitrah kepada masyarakat dan lembaga penyalur di Gedung Nasional Indonesia (GNI) Sumenep, Senin (19/06).
Bupati menyatakan, penyaluran zakat fitrah yang dilakukaan panitia, baik Kabupaten dan Kecamatan harus tepat sasaran kepada masyarakat penerima, karena penyaluran ini terkait dengan zakat fitrah dan zakat maal dari ASN dan masyarakat.
“Penyalurannya dilaksanakan langsung kepada masyarakat kurang mampu dan melalui lembaga atau yayasan dan penyalurannya harus tepat sasaran. Karena zakat fitrah ini untuk membantu masyarakat yang layak menerima,”tegas Bupati.
Sementara itu Kepala Dinas Sosial Kabupaten Sumenep, Drs. H. R. Achmad Aminollah, M.Si mengungkapkan, dana yang terkumpul untuk zakat fitrah tingkat Kabupaten mencapai Rp 89.120.000 berasal dari ASN di lingkungan Pemerintah Kabupaten Sumenep.
“Hasil belanja dana sebesar Rp. 89.120.000 untuk membeli beras sebanyak 8.919 kilogram, dan dijadikan paket sebanyak 2.993 paket dengan berat setiap paket 3 kilogram. Sedangkan untuk zakat fitrah di Kecamatan yang tersebar di 8 Kecamatan dari 27 Kecamatan yang telah melaporkan kepada Bupati sebesar Rp 33.565.000 atau sebanyak 992 paket zakat fitrah,”imbuhnya.
Penyerahan zakat fitrah di GNI Sumenep, dilakukan secara simbolis oleh Bupati KH. A. Busyro Karim, dan Wakil Bupati, Achmad Fausi kepada lembaga/yayasan penyalur dan masyarakat penerima.
