40 Hektar Sawah di Manding Siap Diairi Dengan Pompanisasi

SUMENEP, (Transmadura.com)  – Bantuan pompanisasi dari Kementerian Pertanian RI sudah terealisasi dan terpasang untuk mengairi lahan sawah di wilayah Kecamatan Manding, Kabupaten Sumenep.

Pompanisasi dipasang di dua titik yaitu di Desa Manding Timur dan Desa Kasengan.

Pemasangan pompanisasi melibatkan Babinsa Koramil 0827/03 Manding, PPL Pertanian Kecamatan Manding, Perangkat Desa, dan Kelompok Tani.

Babinsa Koramil 0827/03 Manding Serka Suparno mengatakan, bantuan pompanisasi dari Kementan untuk lahan persawahan tadah hujan yang membutuhkan percepatan pengairan.

“Di wilayah binaan saya di Manding Timur dalam setahun panen padi hanya sekali karena kekurangan air, dengan bantuan pompanisasi ini berharap membantu petani untuk meningkatkan produksi seperti padi,” ujarnya. Jum’at (10/5/2024).

Ia mengatakan target pengairan dengan pompanisasi di wilayah Desa Manding Timur untuk lahan seluas 20 hektar.

“Pesan saya untuk para petani di Manding Timur dengan bantuan pompanisasi ini dimaksimalkan. Yang biasanya tanam padi setahun sekali, bisa sampai dua kali, sukur-sukur sampai tiga kali,” pesannya kepada para petani.

Sementara di tempat terpisah di wilayah Desa Kasengan, Sertu Nursa’i mengatakan bantuan pompanisasi tersebut menargetkan optimalisasi sungai untuk mengoptimalkan lahan persawahan kering akibat cuaca buruk el nino.

“Pompanisasi ini adalah solusi untuk mengatasi kekeringan di wilayah binaan kami saat musim kemarau dengan memanfaatkan sungai yang ada,” ucapnya.

Pihaknya berharap bantuan pompanisasi tersebut agar para petani lebih sejahtera dengan meningkatkan produksi pertanian seperti menanam padi atau jagung.

“Melalui pompanisasi, masa tanam yang awalnya satu kali setahun bisa menjadi dua sampai tiga kali tanam setahun, dengan memperluas untuk lahan pertanian sehingga hasilnya bisa dirasakan oleh para petani disini,” harap Sertu Nursa’i.

Salah satu petani Desa Kasengan Sarbini turut bergembira karena sebelum ada bantuan pompanisasi menanam padi hanya sekali dalam setahun.

Ia menargetkan luasan lahan yang di airi dengan pompanisasi seluas 20 hektar.

“Rata-rata petani disini menanam padi, hanya memanfaatkan tadah hujan. Dengan bantuan pompanisasi ini kami bisa menanam padi bisa sampai dua kali, mudah-mudahan hasilnya nanti berlipat ganda,” harapnya sambil tersenyum.
