SUMENEP, (Transmadura.com) – Danramil 0827/13 Rubaru Kapten Arm Imam Wahyudi beserta anggota lakukan peninjauan dan pengolahan lahan di Dusun Lenteng, Desa Basoka, Kecamatan Rubaru, Kabupaten Sumenep. Jum’at (19/8/2022).
Lokasi yang ditinjau merupakan lahan seluas 1 hektare yang di olah untuk persiapan penanaman cabe dalam rangka ketahanan pangan.
Danramil Kapten Arm Imam Wahyudi mengatakan bahwa hari ini pihaknya meninjau lahan tidur seluas 1 hektar yang sedang di olah untuk persiapan penanaman cabe dengan varietas unggul.
Menurutnya hal ini untuk memanfaatkan lahan tidur untuk ditanami cabe yang bekerja sama dengan kelompok tani di desa Basoka.
“Yang jelasnya ini untuk ketahanan pangan, Kita manfaatkan potensi yang ada dan barusan juga sudah melihat langsung proses pengolahan tanahnya.
Lebih lanjut Danramil “tanah ini merupakan lahan tidur, dulu isinya hanya semak belukar, sekarang kita olah bekerja sama dengan kelompok tani untuk tanaman cabai,” jelasnya.
Pihaknya menuturkan dilahan seluas 1 hektare tersebut tidak hanya dimanfaatkan untuk tanam cabe saja, akan tetapi di loksi lahan tersebut juga bisa tanaman sayur sayuran, bahkan singkong maupun jagung.
“Disini sangat cocok untuk tanaman jenis apapun, selain cabe, sayur-sayuran lain pun bagus, bahkan singkong dan jagung disini sangat produktif” tutupnya.
