Pelaksanaan gerakan pembagian 10 juta bendera merah putih berlangsung di Taman Adipura, Jl. Kpt Tesna, Kelurahan Pajagalan, Kabupaten Sumenep diiukuti juga Kepala Pengadilan Negeri Sumenep, Ketua penggerak PKK Kabupaten Sumenep, Ketua Dharma Kartika Kabupaten Sumenep dan jajaran Kepala OPD. Minggu (14/8/2022).
Kegiatan diawali Penampilan pembacaan Puisi dari SDN 3 Pangarangan dengan judul ” Air Mata Pertiwi ” dan Lagu Merah Putih.
Pemberian Bendera Merah Putih secara simbolis dari Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten Sumenep yang di wakili oleh Sekda Kabupaten Sumenep kepada perwakilan Forum Komunikasi masyarakat.
Dandim Letkol Czi Donny Pramudya Mahardi, S.E. mengatakan gerakan pembagian 10 juta bendera merah putih ini, merupakan gerakan dalam rangka menyemarakkan peringatan Hari Ulang Tahun ke-77 Kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia tahun 2022.
Selain itu, momen yang penting guna menunjukkan rasa cinta terhadap bangsa dan negara, menciptakan kebanggaan terhadap bangsa serta guna memupuk rasa patriotisme dalam menjaga keutuhan wilayah NKRI.
“Sangatlah penting dalam menjaga sikap patriotisme karena dengan sikap patriotisme kita akan berjuang sungguh – sungguh menjaga keselamatan bangsa dan negara,”ujarnya.
Oleh karena itu lanjut Dandim “pembagian bendera merah putih ini mengingatkan kepada kita semua, pentingnya menjaga persatuan dan kesatuan bangsa, perbedaan agama, perbedaan suku, pemikiran, perbedaan latar belakang tidak boleh membuat negara kita terpecah. Kita hanya bisa membangun dengan baik kalau kita tetap bersatu,” imbuh Dandim.
Selain itu Dandim berpesan kepada generasi bangsa dan lapisan masyarakat untuk sikap rukun dan harmonis, menciptakan suasana damai dan aman serta menjaga keamanan kampung secara bersama sama.
