SUMENEP, (TransMadura.com) – Korps Alumni Himpunan Mahasiswa Isalam (HMI) Kabupaten Sumenep, Madura, Jawa Timur menyarankan netral pada pemilihan Bupati dan Wakil Bupati Kabupaten Sumenep, tahun 2020.
Hal itu dikatakan oleh koordinator MD Kahmi Kabupaten Sumenep Malik Musthofa, bahwa secara kelembagaan Kahmi mendorong pelaksanaan Pilkada tahun ini berjalan sesuai aturan.
“Sikap Kahmi pada Pilkada Sumenep tetap netral,” kata Malik dalam sambutannya pada acara Milad Kahmi ke 54 di Pantai Slopeng, Ahad, (27/9/2020)
Sikap netral Kahmi, kata dia bukan berarti Kahmi anti politik, melainkan sebagai sikap untuk menciptakan Pilkada berjalan sesuai aturan.
“Secara kelembagaan Kahmi mendorong agar Pilkada berjalan baik, jujur, adil dan bermartabat,” ucapnya.
Kendati begitu, mantan Komisioner KPU Sumenep itu mempersilahkan bagi Alumni HMI untuk mendukung salah satu calon di Pilkada Sumenep.
“Secara pribadi kami tidak bisa mengintervensi, silahkan dukung sesuai hati nurani masing-masing. Hanya kami saat berkompetisi Alumni HMI harus mampu memberikan contoh yang baik dalam pembangunan demokrasi,” ujarnya.
Presidium MW Kahmi Jawa Timur Ali Tsabit mengapresiasi kegiatan tersebut. Namun, kegiatan seremonial dibarengi dengan loyalitas kepada kader demi keberlangsungan organisasi besutan Lafran Pane itu.
Sejatinya kata dia alumni HMI harus selalu hadir setiap saat ditengah situasi yang dilaksanakan atas nama HMI. Baik hadir secara fisik, pikiran maupun sumbangan materi.
“Saya hormat kepada Kahmi karena loyalitasnya kepada kader meski usianya lebih muda, tapi saya tidak hormat kepada alumni HMI jika tidak loyal kepada kader,” katanya saat meberikan sambutan di acara tersebut.
Hadir dalam kegiatan tersebut beberapa alumni HMI yang duduk di kursi legislatif maupun eksekutif di lingkungan Pemerintah Kabupaten Sumenep. Selain itu juga hadir Wakil Bupati Sumenep Achmad Fauzi.
Untuk diketahui Kabupaten Sumenep merupakan salah satu dari 270 daerah di Indonesia yang akan menggelar pilkada serentak 2020. Pelaksanaanya akan digelar 9 Desember 2020 mendatang.
Terdapat dua pasangan calon yang bakal bertarung pada pesta demokrasi lima tahunan ini, yakni Ahmad Fauzi – Hj. Dewi (Fauzi-Eva) dengan nomor urut 1 dan pasangan Khalifah dan Fattah Jasin – KH Ali Fikri dengan nomor urut 2.
Pasangan Fauzi-Eva diusung atau didukung lima gabungan partai politik, yaitu PDI Perjuangan, Partai Amanat Nasional (PAN), Partai Gerindra, Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS), Partai Bulan Bintang (PBB) dengan jumlah perolehan kursi di DPRD Sumenep sebanyak 20 kursi.
Sementara Fattah Jasin-KH Ali Fikri diusung Partai Kebangkitan Bangsa (PKB), Partai Persatuan Pembangunan (PPP), Partai Demokrat, Partai Hanura, Partai Nasdem, Partai Golkar dengan jumlah kursi di DPRD Sumenep sebanyak 30 kursi.
