Memasuki Musim Kemarau, Desa Montorna Mengalami Krisis Air Bersih

SUMENEP, (TransMadura.com)  –
Desa Montorna, termasuk wilayah Kecamatan Pasongsongan, Kabupaten Sumenep, mulai kekeringan di musim kemarau ini. Pasalnya, saat ini warga mulai kekurangan air dan sedang mencari untuk kebutuhan sehari – harinya.

Sehingga, untuk mendapatkan air bersih warga harus mengeluarkan uang membeli air. “Sejak awal Juni disini kekurangan air bersih,” kata Ahmad salah satu warga Desa Montorna, Senin, (13/7/2020).

Lanjut Ahmad, untuk mendapatkan air warga membeli dengan harga yang cukup fantastis, yakni berkisar Rp300 -Rp350 per pick up.

“Jika digunakan untuk kepentingan mandi dan konsumsi, satu kali beli diperkirakan hanya cukup lima hingga tujuh hari pemakaian,” tuturnya.

Selain itu sebagian warga memanfaatkan air bersih sisa musim penghujan. Caranya warga membuat tandon air seperti sumur guna menampung air hujan. Sayangnya, sampai saat ini belum ada suplai air bersih dari Pemerintah.

“Sepertinya belum ada distribusi air dari Pemerintah, padahal sangat dibutuhkan,” katanya.

Ach. Junaidi Kepala Desa Montorna membenarkan saat ini di desanya mulai krisis air bersih. “Ini sudah berlangsung setiap tahun,” katanya.

Dia berharap ada perhatian dari pemerintah, semisal pengeboran air. Sehingga warga tidak selalu kekurangan air setiap tahun.

Sebelumnya, R. Abd. Rahman Riadi, Kepala Badan Penamggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Sumenep mengatakan, terdapat 38 desa yang berpotensi mengalami kekeringan pada musim kemarau ini.

Puluhan desa itu tersebar di 10 kecanatan, salah satunya Kecamatan Pasongsongan, Dasuk, Batuputih, Batang-batang, Talango dan Kecamatan Saronggi.

“Desa-desa itu rentan terjadi kekeringan. Saat ini kami sedang melakukan pemetaan,” kata R. Abd. Rahman Riadi, Kepala BPBD Sumenep,

Dikatakan, untuk menentukan daerah menjadi zona kekeringan menggunakan tiga kriteria, salah satunya interfensi kegiatan penanganan kekeringan dari OPD terkait, seperti Dinas PUPR dan Cipta Karya, pemetaan dari BPBD sendiri berdasarkan data kekeringan yang ada dan dari informasi masyarakat sekitar.

“Kami terus melakukan upaya penanggulangan kekeringan ini yang berdampak pada kekurangan air bersih di masyarakat,” tutupnya.
