BANGKALAN, (TransMadura.com) – Antisipasi bencana alam, Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI) Bangkalan, Madura, Jawa Timur, siagakan empat tim penagulangan bencana. Pasalnya, berdasarkan Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi geofisika (BMKG) puncak hujan intensitas sedang dan lebat.

Selain itu juga, PMI juga menyiapkan empat ambulance serta ribuan kantong darah. Sehingga, kondisi iklim cuaca selain hujan, disertai angin kencang dan petir terjadi hampir di seluruh wilayah Jawa Timur, termasuk Kabupaten Bangkalan.

“Kondisi ini diprakirakan berlangsung sampai bulan Februari 2020,” kata Kepala PMI Bangkalan, dr. H Fachrur Rozi, MM.

Namun, lanjutnya, Potensi bencana tersebut menjadi perhatian Pemkab Bangkalan, bersama seluruh pihak terkait, termasuk PMI setempat, dengan tujuan, apabila terjadi bencana alam bisa dilakukan penanganan secara cepat, tepat dan terpadu.

“PMI Bangkalan selalu siap siaga 24 jam bila sewaktu-waktu di butuhkan dan menyiapkan empat tim siaga bencana terdiri 9 orang dalam setiap tim dan juga menyiapkan 11.896 kantong darah,” ungkapnya.

Sehingga, kata Fachrur Rozi, kesiap siagaan terus setiap saat 24 yang sudah terbentuk koordinator
komplit, 4 tim. “Setiap tim berisi 9 sampai 10 orang dan ambulance sebanyak 4 unit , kami juga menjalin jejaring dengan Surabaya jika di butuhkan saya tinggal menghubungi,” ujarnya.

Hal serupa juga dapat respon Bupati Bangkalan, R. Abdul Latif Amin Imron, dengan di naikan nya status Bangkalan darurat bencana, karena Bangkalan sangat berpotensi bencana hidrometeorologi. Yakni bencana banjir, longsor, cuaca ekstrim dan kekeringan.

“Memperhatikan kondisi tersebut, sejak 2 Desember 2019 sampai dengan 150 hari ke depan, Kabupaten Bangkalan dinyatakan dalam Status Siaga Darurat Bencana Hidrometeorologi,” ucap Bupati.

Dia mengimbau, kepada masyarakat, agar senantiasa meningkatkan kewaspadaan di lingkungan masing-masing. Khususnya warga yang berada di wilayah rawan potensi bancana.

“Hal ini penting karena salah satu faktor yang menjadi kunci keselamatan dari bencana alam adalah saat kita terbiasa melatih kesiap siagaan diri, keluarga dan komunitas di sekitar tempat tinggal kita. Kenali potensi dan risiko bencana di sekitar kita. lakukan langkah-langkah untuk mengurangi risiko dan bahayanya,” Pungkasnya.
