Prosesi sakral dalam rangka haul akbar tahapan jamasan keris leluhur Desa Aeng Tong-Tong dan pusaka Keraton Sumenep berlangsung khidmat.
Prosesi itu digelar di Bhujuk Agung, Desa Aeng Tong-Tong, Kecamatan Saronggi, Sumenep, Jawa Timur, Minggu (08/09/2019).
Tampak hadir dalam prosesi yang Wakil Bupati Sumenep, Achmad Fauzi, terdapat sembilan keris yang di jamas, dua keris Pusaka Keraton Sumenep, dan tujuh keris peninggalan leluhur Desa Aeng Tong-Tong.
Prosesi mencuci dan membersihkan keris pusaka itu diawali dengan pemukulan gong sebanyak sembilan kali, sebagai tanda sembilan lux sebagai ciri khas keris Sumenep.
Proses penjamasan keris pusaka itu sendiri diawali dengan penjamasan dua keris pusaka Keraton Sumenep. Selanjutnya, para Empu Sepuh di Desa Aeng Tong-Tong menjamas enam keris warisan leluhur mereka.
Enam pusaka warisan leluhur Desa Aeng Tong-Tong itu adalah keris pusaka se Manis, se Jimat Pamangkang, se Kombang, se Baceng, se Lendhu Sagara, serta keris pusaka se Kembang Sare.
Wakil Bupati Sumenep, Achmad Fauzi dalam sambutannya berharap, haul dan penjamasan tersebut dapat memberikan rasa aman, tentram, dan kesejahteraan bagi masyarakat Sumenep.
Pada acara yang dikemas dengan pembacaan do’a tahlil itu juga, Fauzi berharap generasi muda dapat memberikan kecintaan terhadap jasa para pendahulu yang telah memberikan warisan yang berharga berupa warisan keris.
“Haul ini merupakan tradisi kita dalam melestarikan budaya agung yang ada di Kabupaten Sumenep, sehingga budaya agung yang sudah ada dapat kita lestarikan bersama-sama,” tukasnya.
Setelah dijamas, dua keris pusaka Keraton Sumenep itu direncanakan dikembalikan kepada ahli wari. Dua keris pusaka itu akan di kirab dari Desa Aeng Tong-Tong menuju Keraton Sumenep, Senin (09/09/2019).
