Pelaksanaan Pemilihan Umum (Pemilu) 2019 tinggal menghitung hari. Namun sejumlah warga di Kabupaten Sumenep, Madura, Jawa Timur yang belum tahu tata cara menyalurkan hak suaranya pada 17 April 2019 mendatang.
Wiyono, salah satu warga Desa Gunung Kembar, Kecamatan Manding, Sumenep, mengatakan selama ini banyak warga yang belum mengetahui tatacara pencoblosan. Semisal, jenis kertas suara untuk pemilihan legislatif (Pileg).
“Itu kan banyak, tidak hanya satu, nah warna untuk DPRD Kabupaten, DPRD Provinsi dan DPR RI itu banyak warga yang belum tahu, apalagi bagi caleg yang mau dipilih,” katanya, Selasa,
Selain itu juga, kata dia banyak warga yang belum tahu mengenai nama salah satu pemilih yang tidak masuk Daftar Pemilih Tetap (DPT), apakah diperbolehkan menyalurkan hak suaranya pada pemilu mendatang atau tidak.
Wiyono menduga banyaknya masyarakat yang belum tahu itu karena minimnya sosialisasi yang dilakukan oleh petugas penyelenggara pemilu.
“Sepengetahuan saya belum ada sosialisasi yang langsung pada masyarakat, tidak tahu kalau sosialisasi itu hanya dilakukan ditingkat elit saja,” ungkapnya.
Sementara itu, Ketua Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Sumenep A. Waris mengatakan sosialisasi telah dilakukan secara menyeluruh.
“Sosialisasi kita sudah masif, dan akan dilakukan sampai H – 1 (pencoblosan). Sosialisasi terus dilakukan menggunakan KPPS, karena saat itu KPPS akan mengantarkan Form C 6 atau pemberitahuan pelaksanaan pencoblosan. Sehingga dipastikan pada 17 April mendatang tidak ada warga yang tidak tahu jika ada Pemilu,” katanya. (Asm/Fero/Red)
