SUMENEP, (TransMadura.com) –
Kapal Motor (KM) Dharma Bahari Sumekar Satu (DBS-1) dikeluhkan pelayanan tidak menjaga keselamatan penumpang.Pasalnya,
operator kapal diduga masih menaikan penumpang ditengah laut meski dalam kondisi kapal sudah ful.

“Ada sekitar lima orang (yang dinaikan ditengah laut),” kata Ibnu Hajar, salah satu penumpang KM DBS-I, melalui pesan Whatsapp, Jum’at, 20 Juli 2018.

Mereka kata Ibnu dari dermaga menggunakan perahu kecil, tepatnya disekitar Pulau Poteran Kecamagan Talango. “Penumpang sudah ful masih menaikan penumpang diatas laut,” tulisnya.

KM DBS-I berangkat dari pelabuhan Kalianget menuju Pelabuhan Batuguluk, Pulau Kangean, sekitar pukul 09.00 WIB. Informasinya pemberangkatan itu lebih awal dibandingkan jadwal pemberangkatan yang dijadwalkan sebelumnya.

Menurut Ibnu, pemberangkatan itu terkesan dipaksakan. Sebab, kondisi cuaca dinilai belum maksimal. “Angin cukup kencang, tapi kenapa kok tidak melihat kapasitas kapal dan barang, penumpang yang dimuat,” tulisnya.

Sehingga kata Ibnu, penumpang terpaksa berdiam diatas barang. “Penumpang ada yang ada di belakang dibawah terik sinar matahari, bahkan tidur diatas barang berdekatan dengan ayam,” jelasnya.

Sementara Manager Operasional PT. Sumekar, Bambang Supriyo belum bisa dimintai keterangan. Saat dihubungi melalui sambungan teleponnya tidak merespon meski nada siangnya terdengar aktif. (Fero/Asm)
