Dalam sambutannya, Haris membacakan teks pidato dan menyampaikan amanah Direktur Utama ke segenap karyawan/wati untuk sepakat menerapkan komitmen kerja.

Menurutnya, untuk mewujudkan semua itu tertuang dalam terwujud yaitu struktur organisasi baru sesuai Surat Keputusan Direksi Nomer : 143/KPTS/Dir/2017 tanggal 27 Februari 2017.
“Dimana jumlah Dewan Direksi Perum Perhutani berkurang dari 7 (tujuh) menjadi 5 (lima) formasi, diikuti pengurangan jabatan dibawahnya,” paparnya.
Tujuannya, untuk mendukung roda perusahaan bergerak efektif dan efisien bertransformasi menuju perusahaan Holding atau Perhutani Group yang kuat.
“Ditempat yang sama juga dilakukan penyerahan Reward kepada Karyawan yang berprestasi,” sambungnya.
Pantauan wartawan Transmadura.com di Aula Perhutani, KPH Madura juga dilaksanakan penyerahan Surat Keputusan mutasi/promusi pejabat jenjang V (KRPH) di lingkup Perum Perhutani KPH Madura dan surat Keputusan purna tugas karyawati Ibu Ratnawati (Kasir KPH).
Kemudian dalam amanahnya, Haris menyampaikan seluruh jajaran harus peduli terhadap sumber daya hutan dan lingkungan hidup untuk itu agar selalu memelihara dan merawat sumber daya hutan yang ada serta menjaga kemantapan Kawasan Hutan Negara.
Sesuai yang diamanahkan oleh Negara kepada Perhutani melalui Peraturan Pemerintah Nomer 72 tahun 2010 tentang Perum Perhutani.
“Sudah selayaknya untuk selalu memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat sekitar hutan tentang fungsi dan manfaat hutan termasuk yang dapat menyerap gas CO2 yang membahayakan bagi manusia dan hutan memproduksi oksigen (O2) yang kita hirup setiap hari selama kita hidup, menjaga tata air dan lingkungan dari bahaya yang tidak kita harapkan (bencana alam banjir, kekeringan, dll),” paparnya panjang lebar.
Pada acara tersebut dilakukan pula pemotongan tumpeng dan tasyakuran sebagai rasa syukur kita kepada Allah SWT.
