Pembukaan Sepak Bola Bupati Cup 2019 resmi dimulai di lapangan GOR A. Yani Pangligur Sumenep, Madura, Jawa Timur, Kamis, (29/72019).
Kompetisi tahunan ini, dibuka langsung oleh Bupati Sumenep, Dr. KH. A. Busyro Karim, yang diikuti dari kecamatan se Kabupaten.
Namun, dari 27 kecamatan empat kecamatan absen tidak berpartisipasi mengikuti kompetisi pencari bibit berbakat ini, yakni Kecamatan Masalembu, Kangayan, Arjasa dan Gayam.
Sehingga, pelaksanaan hanya diikuti 23 kecamatan dari jumlah 27 kecamatan. “Kompetsi ini diikuti 23 kecamatan ada empat kecamatan yang tidak ikut kompetesi ini, ” kata Nur Fitriyana Busyro Karim, selaku panitia dalam sambutannya.
Istri bupati Sumenep ini mengungkapkan, pertandingan diharapkan berjalan kompetetif. Apalagi, sistem yang digunakan sistem gugur. “Sementara untuk kecamatan yang tidak ikut, diharapkan tahun depan bisa berkompetesi, ” ujarnya.
Perempuan berparas cantik ini mengungkapkan, dalam pelaksanaan kompetesi bisa menggunakan atau menyewa pemain luar, maksimal dua orang. Itu agar pertandingan perjalan kompetetif. “Kegiatan ini untuk menjaring bibit unggul dalam sepak bola, ” tuturnya.
Bupati Sumenep Dr. KH. A. Busyro Karim mengaku sangat mengapresiasi kegiatan kompetesi ini. Politisi PKB ini berpesan agar pelaksanaan kegiatan berjalan lancar dan sportif.
Pembukaan bupati cup ini disamping dihadiri bupati Sumenep, juga hadir Sekdakab Edy Rasyadi, Kapolres Sumenep, Dandim 0827 dan pimpinan OPD (Organisasi Perangkat Daerah) dan juga camat.
