Pemerintah Kabupaten Sumenep, Madura, Jawa Timur, kembali raih opini Wajar Tanpa Pengecualian (WTP) dari Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan (BPK) RI tentang
Laporan Keuangan Pemerintah Daerah (LKPD).
Predikat hasil pemeriksaan BPK terhadap LKPD Sumenep tahun 2020 ini, diterima langsung Bupati Achmad Fauzi, Selasa, (25/5/2021), di Sidoarjo.
Dalam penerimaan anugrah Bupati didampingi Sekretaris Daerah (Sekda) Edi Rasiyadi dan Inspektur Inspektorat Titik Suryati.
“Alhamdulillah sejak beberapa tahun terakhir LKPD Sumenep selalu mendapat opini WTP dari BPK. Termasuk yang LKPD Sumenep tahun anggaran 2020,” kata Bupati.
Sehingga, menurut orang nomor satu di kabupaten ujung timur pulau Madura ini, pihaknya meyakini
dengan integritasnya yang tinggi BPK tidak akan serampangan memberikan opini WTP pada laporan keuangan suatu daerah.
“Predikat atau opini WTP yang didapat Pemkab Sumenep kali ini betul-betul merupakan buah dari kerja keras banyak pihak. Khususnya di internal Pemkab Sumenep yang telah menjalankan roda pemerintahan secara bersih, transparan dan akuntabel,” ungkapnya.
Namun hal itu, jelas Suami Nia Kurnia, atas dukungan semua pihak termasuk masyarakat setempat ikut andil dalam mengawasi dan memberikan saran, kriitik terhadap jalannya roda pemerintahan. “Ini berkat kerjasama selama ini,” ujarnya.
Kendati demikian, pihaknya tetap meminta kepada pihak terkait, khususnya pimpinan OPD, agar tidak mudah puas.
Opini WTP harus dinilai sebagai apresiasi sehingga ke depan lebih semangat lagi untuk berbuat yang lebih baik dalam menjalankan roda pemerintahan di Sumenep.
“Selain mensyukuri opini WTP kali ini, ke depan tetap harus lebih profesional, transparan dan akuntabel dalam menjalankan roda pemerintahan. Agar opini WTP ini bisa terus dipertahankan,” tegas dia.
