Fasilitas rehabilitas para pencandu dan pemakai narkoba terdapat empat ruang yang masing masing ruangan berisi 8 orang.
Hal itu disampaikan Direktur RSUD dr H Moh Anwar Sumenep, dr. Erliyati, bahwa ruang rehabilitasi dilengkapi dengan tenaga medis dan dokter spesialis. Sehingga semua fasilitas didalamnya sudah memenuhi ketentuan standar medis.
“Kita sudah siapkan semua tenaga medis dan dokter spesialisnya. Juga ada sarana dan prasarana yang kami siapkan, tentu sudah sesuai standar,” katanya usai Peresmian.
Sementara, peresmian dihadiri Wakil Bupati Sumenep Nyai Hj Dewi Khalifah. Balai Rehabilitasi Adhyaksa ini hasil kerjasama dengan Kejaksaan Negeri (Kejari) Sumenep.
Erli melanjutkan, rehabilitasi bagi pasien pecandu narkoba tersebut, selama menjalani perawatan bersifat gratis.
“Semuanya gratis, dibiayai oleh pemerintah, dan untuk pelayanan yang lebih mumpuni, lebih lanjut pastinya kita kami pikirkan,” pungkasnya.
Tujuan ini, pihaknya menyatakan langkah penanggulangan masalah narkoba tidak hanya memutus mata rantai peredaran narkoba mulai bandar hingga pengedar, melainkan juga kepada pecandu atau pemakai.
Wabup Sumenep Nyai Dewi Khalifah mengatakan pemberantasan narkoba menjadi tugas bersama semua pihak, baik pemerintah maupun masyarakat. Rehabilitasi menjadi salah satu langkah memberantas narkoba.
“Pecandu yang direhabilitasi supaya mendapatkan pengobatan atau perawatan baik medis maupun sosial, dengan harapan para pecandu itu setelah dilakukaan rehabilitasi terbebas dari ketergantungan narkoba,” ujarnya.
Sementara Kepala Kejari Sumenep, Trimo, menyatakan, narapidana kasus narkoba rata-rata yang dijatuhi hukuman pidana adalah pecandu atau korban.
Karena itu, dengan adanya balai rehabilitasi ini pecandu atau korban narkoba tidak dibawa ke pengadilan, namun penyelesaiannya melalui pendekatan restorative, khusus pelaku itu adalah pecandu dan korban narkoba saja.
“Rehabilitasi ini hanya bagi pecandu atau korban narkoba saja, sedangkan pelaku narkoba lainnya tidak bisa dilakukan rehabilitasi tetapi tetap melalui proses hukum,” pungkasnya.
