SUMENEP, (Transmadura.com) – Menko Polhukam Mohammad Mahfud MD, Hadir dalam acara istighasah Kebangsaan di Kabupaten Sumenep, Madura, Jawa Timur.
Mahfud MD, mengawali orasi kebangsaannya mengajak puluhan ribu warga yang hadir salawatan dan menyanyikan lagu Madura berjudul ‘Tanduk Majang’ di awal sambutannya.
Acara yang berlangsung di Stadion A. Yani Panglegur Sumenep ini juga dihadiri sejumlah tokoh penting, di antaranya, Ketua Badan Anggaran DPR RI MH Said Abdullah, Bupati Sumenep Achmad Fauzi Wongsojudo, Bupati Trenggalek Mohammad Arifin, dan Wakil Bupati Sumenep Dewi Khalifah.
Tak hanya itu, sejumlah pengasuh pondok pesantren di Madura juga hadir dalam acara ini. Di antaranya KH. Unais Ali Hisyam, KH. Hazmi Basyir, KH. Ali Fikri, KH. Qusyairi, dan sejumlah kiai lainnya.
Mengawali orasi kebangsaannya dalam acara tersebut, Mahfud mengajak semua warga Madura yang hadir bershalawat tibbil qulub. Selanjutnya, dia juga menyanyikan lagu-lagu Madura sepeti ‘Tanduk Majheng”, “Ngapote” dan “Pajjar Laggu”, sebagai penegasan bahwa dirinya adalah orang Madura.
“Terbukti saya orang Madura, bicara Madura lancar, bisa lagu Madura, dan orang Madura suka shalawatan,” kata Mahfud, berseloroh yang disambut riuh tepuk tangan hadirin.
Bupati Sumenep Achmad Fauzi Wongsojudo dalam sambutannya mengatakan, Istighasah Kebangsaan ini merupakan salah satu ikhtiar ‘mengetuk pintu langit’ agar negeri ini tetap aman dan damai.
Orang nomor satu di lingkungan Pemkab Sumenep ini mengucapkan terima kasih kepada seluruh pihak yang telah menyukseskan acara kali ini, khususnya kepada Menko Polhukam yang telah berkenan hadir.
