SMP (Sekolah Menengah Pertama) Negeri 1 Manding, Kabupaten Sumenep, Madura, Jawa Timur, menjaring siswa berprestasi di ajang “Kompastik Kompetisi Matematika, IPA, IPS dan Atletik tingkat SD/MI se Kecamatan, tingkat SD , MI se Kecamatan Manding. Minggu, (06/3/2022).
Event atletik diikuti 99 peserta diantara lari cepat, jalan santai, antara putra putri SD MI se Kecamatan Manding.
Kepala SMP Manding, Jayadi, Spd, mengatakan, jika event atletik ini rentetan dari kegiatan PTDP peserta dari SD MI se Kecamatan manding, semua kelas VI biar mengenal SMPN 1 manding agar saat PTDP nanti melanjutkan ke SMPN 1 di kecamatan sendiri.
“Ini merupakan kegiatan yang kedua event atletik tersebut, Minggu kemarin Kompasnya,” ujarnya.
Sehingga, Event tersebut kata Kasek Baru’ ini tidak mewajibkan, hanya saja bagian dari ajang silaturrahmi dari teman teman SMPN 1, juga SD MI se Kecamatan manding dan sekitarnya.
“Kita tidak mewajibkan, tapi mengharapkan semua siswa SD, MI kelas VI baik yang punya potensi maupun yang tidak bisa mengikuti, ajang kami ini silaturahmi,” ungkapnya.
Hal itu, pihaknya menjelaskan untuk ajang sambil lalu menggali potensi siswa yang ada . “Event atletik ini ada kerjasama dengan KKG Olahraga dan pengurus KKG Kecamatan Manding sangat antusias, panitianya ini dari KKG Olahraga, kita hanya fasilitator,” jelasnya.
Ditanya apakah jaring siswa berprestasi dalam event Kompastik ini akan berjenjang ke tingkat lebih tinggi?, Jayadi menyebutkan, jika siswa masuk juara yang nantinya kalau sudah masuk di SMP manding, akan dilanjutkan ke tingkat yang lebih tinggi, yakni kabupaten sampai tingkat Provinsi,” tutupnya.
Sementara, dalam Atletik lomba Jalan Cepat Putri, juara 1 diraih oleh SDN Manding Laok 1 Syifaul Mauqhfirah, Juara II SDN Lalangon 1 atas nama Rizka Amiliyatun Nafisah dan SDN Manding Laok I Novita Adela.
