Armada 80an Pengangkut Sampah Kabupaten Sumenep Tidak Layak

Transmadura.com, Sumenep — Dalam upaya untuk memaksimalisasi Pengangkutan Sampah Kabupaten Sumenep, sering tersendat, akibat armada pengangkut berupa truk dan pick-up yang ke tempat pembuangan sampah (TPA) ke Kecamatan Batuan Kabupaten Sumenep, sudah tidak layak alias lapuk sering mogok/ macet.

“Armada pengangkut sampah sebanyak 14 unit truk 2 Pic up itu, sudah keluaran pada tahun 80an yang memang sudah usianya sudah tua ya.. sering macet,” kata Kepala Bidang Pengelolaan Sampah dan Limbah P3 Dinas Lingkungan Hidup, Drs. Ec. Ernawan Utomo, senin 03/04/2017, diruang kerjanya.

Menurut Iwan panggilan akarapnya, kadangkala truk pengangkut sampah ada yang mogok, bahkan sangat sering masuk bengkel. Sehingga, tidak bisa untuk mengoptimalisasi pengangkutan sampah jadinya tersendat.

“Harus barter dengan wilayah lain, yang terpenting bisa diangkut. Misalnya, yang mogok di wilayah Barat, maka kita ngambil yang ditimur,” paparnya.

Dengan demikian, sambung dia, biaya perawatan untuk mobil usia tua itu sangat banyak. “Kami pastikan semua sampah yang ada di wilayah kita ini, bisa terangkut semua ke TPA di Batuan. Meski dengan cara barter antar wilayah. Yang terpenting sampah tidak menumpuk,” ungkapnya dengan santai.

Sementara untuk volume sampah per hari, Ernawan Utomo menjelaskan, Sampah yang diangkut ke TPA sebanyak 4,32 ton per hari. Jadi, tinggal mengalikan setiap bulannya itu berapa. “Itu bukan angka pasti, kurang lebih 4,32 ton per hari. Intinya, sampah kita tiap hari cukup besar,” tuturnya. (Asm)
