Menurut R.Herman Purnomo Kepala Dinas Pemberdayaan Perempuan, Perlindungan Anak, dan Keluarga Berencana, Idealnya, setiap kecamatan minimalnya terdapat satu pendamping. Sehingga dalam melaksanakan tugas bisa maksimal.
Dengan Jumlah penduduk kabupaten Sumenep, mencapai 1 juta lebih yang tersebar di 330 desa di 27 Kecamatan, baik daerah kepulauan maupn daratan.
“Masih kurang,” katanya Senin, 13/03/2017.
Menurutnya, pendamping KDRT itu dibentuk mengingat jumlah kasus KDRT di Sumenep setiap tahun selalu mengalami peningkatan dan sulit mendapatkan keadilan lantaran harus berjuang sendiri.
Selain itu, untuk memberikan penyadaran kepada masyarakat guna menekan angka dan melakukan pencatatan setiap terjadi kasus KDRT di masing-masing desa. “Mereka dibentuk oleh Dinas melalui SK Bupati,” jelasnya.
Selain dilakulan oleh pendamping, sosialisasi itu juga dilakukan oleh petugas yang berada di UPT KB. Bahkan, saat terjadi kasus KDRT petugas di UPT juga dibebankan untuk turun dan melakukan pendataan serta pembinaan.
“Kedepan kami akan berupaya untuk menambah pendamping KDRT,” tegasnya.(Asm/hy)
