SUMENEP, (TransMadura.com)  – Dandim 0827/Sumenep Letkol Inf Yoyok Wahyudi S.I.P.,M.Han. mengikuti kegiatan doa bersama untuk sang Proklamator RI, Soekarno di depan Labang Mesem Sabtu (1/6) malam.

Kegiatan doa bersama Forkopimda Kabupaten Sumenep, OPD, ASN dan ratusan masyarakat Kabupaten Sumenep dengan mengenakan baju putih dan peci hitam.

Kegiatan doa bersama ini sebagai wujud penghormatan kepada sang pembuka gerbang kemerdekaan RI, Soekarno.

Bupati Sumenep Ir. H. Achmad Fauzi Wongsojudo mengatakan, mendoakan dan mengenang Soekarno adalah sebuah kewajiban bagi warga indonesia. Sebab, kata dia, dengan perjuangannya mampu bebas dari penjajahan.

“Mengenang jasa beliau suatu keharusan bagi kita. Jika tanpa perjuangan beliau dengan pahlawan yang lain, mungkin tidak merasakan sebuah kemerdekaan seperti sekarang,” ucap Bupati Fauzi. Minggu (2/6/2024)

“Dengan doa bersama kita meningkatkan pemahaman sejarah dan memahami nilai-nilai pancasila, serta diharapakan kepada generasi muda, menjadi penerus yang tangguh dan berkarakter budaya,” terangnya.
