Menurutnya, generasi penerus bangsa ini harus mempersiapkan diri sebaik mungkin, salah satunya harus cerdas. Namun demikian, cerdas dan pintar saja tidak cukup, sebab harus pula dibarengi dengan karakter kebangsaan yang kuat.
“Jadilah generasi yang pintar, tapi tidak sekadar pintar saja, tapi jadilah pintar yang berkarakter. Adik-adik di depan saya, mari bersama-sama belajar yang semangat agar memiliki karakter kuat, cerdas. Hal itu juga harus dilandasi pula dengan keimanan, ketaqwaan, yakni pondasi ilmu agama yang kuat,” ujarnya, Selasa (5/3/2024).
Lebih lanjut, Babinsa menuturkan, bahwa untuk menjadi pintar, cerdas, dan berkarakter harus dibangun mulai saat ini, di masa remaja.
Syaratnya adalah kedisiplinan, dan ketekunan. Tak hanya itu, untuk membawa negara Indonesia kuat, maju dan sejahtera juga diperlukan rasa percaya diri dan kuatnya rasa nasionalisme dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.
“Kepada adik-adik sekalian, saya berharap agar selalu disiplin dalam segala hal, termasuk dalam belajar menuntut ilmu hingga dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Tapi jangan lupa kunci kesuksesan itu juga ada pada do’a orang tua. Maka setiap hendak berangkat sekolah, hendak belajar, jangan lupa mintalah do’a restu orang tua, hormatlah pada guru yang telah memberi ilmu,” pesan Serka Suwadi.
