Kedatangan Pangdam V/Brawijaya di lokasi disambut langsung oleh Dansatgas TMMD yaitu Letkol Czi Donny Pramudya Mahardi, S.E.,M.Si. dan jajaran Forkopimda Kabupaten Sumenep, dan penampilan musik tong tong.
Untuk diketahui, TMMD ke-116 digelar serentak di lima kabupaten di jajaran Kodam V/Brawijaya.
Adalah Kodim 0810/Nganjuk, Kodim 0814/Jombang, Kodim 0815/Mojokerto, Kodim 0822/Bondowoso dan Kodim 0827/Sumenep.
Dalam amanatnya, Pangdam Mayjen TNI Farid Makruf, M.A. menyampaikan apresiasi kepada segenap jajaran Pemerintah Daerah, elemen masyarakat serta semua pihak yang telah terlibat dan membantu secara moril maupun materiil sehingga kegiatan ini dapat berjalan dengan lancar, aman dan sukses.

Dikatakan, selama satu bulan mulai tanggal 10 Mei s.d 8 Juni 2023, para prajurit TNI bersinergi dengan Pemerintah Daerah, segenap elemen bangsa serta warga masyarakat bahu-membahu menyelesaikan program TMMD ke-116.
“Kebersamaan ini merupakan wujud sinergitas yang positif dalam mengatasi berbagai permasalahan bangsa pada masa sekarang ini, termasuk membantu Pemda mempercepat pembangunan di daerah dalam rangka meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat dan memantapkan kemanunggalan TNI-Rakyat,” ucap Mayjen TNI Farid Makruf.
Menurutnya, kepada seluruh satgas TMMD yang tergabung, dan pemerintah daerah patut bersyukur, karena sudah berhasil dan sukses dalam menyelesaikan program TMMD ke-116 dengan baik dan tepat waktu.
“Ini merupakan bukti nyata keseriusan pemerintah dalam upaya mengatasi segala kesulitan masyarakat serta bisa di jadikan sebagai sarana untuk menumbuh kembangkan jiwa gotong royong, mendorong semangat kebersamaan membangun bangsa dan mempererat Kemanunggalan TNI-Rakyat,” tutur Jendral Bintang Dua itu.
Pangdam juga berpesan setelah pelaksanaan TMMD agar tetap pelihara semangat kebersamaan dan kemanunggalan antara TNI-Rakyat, tidak mudah terhasut dan terprovokasi oleh pihak manapun yang hendak merusak persatuan dan kesatuan bangsa.
