SUMENEP, (Transmadura.com) – Dalam rangka ketahanan pangan dan memasuki musim hujan sawah seluas 1 Hektare milik Pak Kis Hariyanto dilakukan pembajakan yang rencanannya di tanami jagung hibrida jenis pertiwi.
Lokasinya di Dusun Paangguh Dajah, Desa Bataal Timur, Kecamatan Ganding, Kabupaten Sumenep. Selasa (8/11/2022).
Lahan yang ini kondisinya sudah sudah di tumbuh rerumputan dan dilakukan pembajakan oleh Babinsa Koramil 08208 Ganding Serda Trio Mustofa membantu petani Pak Kis Hariyanto untuk di produktifkan kembali yang rencananya di tanamani jagung.
Babinsa Serda Trio Mustofa mengatakan untuk mendapatkan hasil panen yang melimpah perlu diadakan beberapa proses diantaranya pengolahan lahan yang baik dan benar, tehnik penanaman, perawatan dan pemupukan serta pengendalian hama.
“Dalam proses pengolahan lahan bisa dilakukan dengan cara manual atau dengan menggunakan mesin, untuk cara manual bisa membutuhkan waktu yang cukup lama sehingga kurang efektif. Oleh karena itu sebagian besar petani saat ini sudah menggunakan mesin hand traktor dan hasilnya lebih cepat dan maksimal,” ujarnya.
Lanjut Serda Trio Mustofa menambahkan kegiatan ini dilaksanakan untuk mendukung program ketahanan pangan dan yang lebih penting lagi adalah sebagai sarana mempererat tali silaturahmi antara Babinsa dengan masyarakat.
Terlihat pemilik sawah bapak Kis Hariyanto yang berkecimpung di sawah juga ikut menyemangati Serda Trio Mustofa pada saat melalukan pembajakan lahan sawahnya.
