SUMENEP, (Transmadura.com) – Pemerintah Kabupaten Sumenep melalui Badan Pendapatan, Pengelolaan Keuangan, dan Aset Daerah (BPKAD) menggratiskan layanan pemutakhiran data Surat Pemberitahuan Pajak Terhutang (SPPT) Pajak Bumi dan Bangunan Perdesaan dan Perkotaan (PBB P2).
Upaya tersebut dilakukan sebagai upaya validasi kepemilikan tanah sesuai dengan nama wajib pajak terbaru.
“Layanan pemutakhiran SPPT gratis, wajib pajak bisa langsung memproses secara langsung di Kantor (BPPKAD red.) dengan membawa persyaratan yang diperlukan,” kata Urip Mardani, Kabid Pengelolaan Pendapatan Daerah BPPKAD Sumenep, pada media ini.
Dirinya berharap layanan tersebut dimanfaatkan sebaik mungkin oleh masyarakat. Sebab, banyak keuntungan yang didapat. Salah satunya untuk memperbaharui nama kepemilikan lahan dan untuk memvalidasi luas lahan sesuai dengan data yang baru.
Dia mencontohkan, apabila orang tua dahulu memiliki lahan yang banyak dan telah diwariskan pada yang berhak, jika tidak dilakukan pemutakhiran SPPT PBB P2 maka atas nama tetap nama orang tuanya. Karena atas nama orang yang sama maka diantara ahli waris berpotensi saling klaim yang bisa berujung pada perseteruan sesama saudara.
Apabila telah dimutakhirkan, nama di SPPT PBB P2 yang baru akan berubah pada ahli waris saat ini.
