SUMENEP, (Transmadura.com) – Tentara Nasional Indonesia (TNI) memiliki tugas yang mencakup operasi militer selain perang (OMSP). Juga bertugas untuk terjun ke masyarakat melalui Bintara Pembina Desa (Babinsa). Kegiatan yang mereka lakukan selain menjaga keamanan juga tidak jarang mereka memiliki program sosial, seperti program rumah tinggal layak huni (RTLH) yang dilakukan oleh Babinsa Komando Rayon Militer (Koramil) 0827/09 Pragaan Kabupaten Sumenep.
Sersan satu (Sertu) Masturi sesuai dengan OMSP ia bersama rekan-rekannya saat menjalankan program RTLH. Sertu Masturi mengatakan program tersebut merupakan bagian kepedulian mereka kepada masyarakat yang kurang mampu. Salah satunya, rumah dari Moh Sahwi warga Desa Kaduara timur Kecamatan Pragaan Kabupaten Sumenep yang terpilih untuk direnovasi.
“Wujud perhatian pemerintah daerah untuk mengentaskan kemiskinan dalam membantu warga masyarakat yang tidak mampu,” tegasnya, Jumat (24/06/2022).
Sertu Masturi mengungkapkan, kegiatan karya bhakti dengan target RTLH dengan merenovasi rumah warga kurang mampu. Sebelum dikerjakan ia melakukan survei. Dikatakannya program itu sangat mudah dan menyenangkan karena bisa membantu masyarakat, apalagi tugasnya sebagai Babinsa pendamping Desa Kaduara timur.
“RTLH ini juga untuk meningkatkan hubungan antara TNI dengan rakyat,” tuturnya.
Penerima program RTLH Koramil 0827/09 Pragaan mengaku sangat senang dan bahagia. Ia tidak menyangka rumahnya bisa renovasi. Ia mengucapkan rasa terima kasih kepada TNI atas bantuan renovasi rumah miliknya itu.
“Terimakasih banyak pak Babinsa, saya sangat bersyukur sekali atas bantuan ini, sangat bermanfaat sekali,” ucap Moh Sahwi pemilik rumah.
