SUMENEP, (TransMadura.com) – Jumlah pasien yang terkonfirmasi coronavirus disease (Covid-19) di Kabupaten Sumenep, Madura, Jawa Timur terus bertambah. Sementara jumlah ruangan isolasi di RSUD Dr. Moh. Anwar untuk pasien virus mematikan itu sangat terbatas.
Kepala Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika, Kabupaten Sumenep, Ferdiansyah Tetrajaya mengatakan, RSUD Dr. Moh. Anwar hanya mampu menyediakan sebanyak 9 kamar isolasi untuk pasien covid 19.
“Jumlah ruang isolasi di RSUD sebanyak 9 kamar, karena yang dirawat kemarin berjumlah 10 pasien, maka satu kamar ditempati dua pasien,” katanya.
Guna mengantisipasi kemungkinan bertambahnya jumlah pasien, kata dia pemerintah daerah menyediakan rumah isolasi darurat. “Tempatnya di SKD (Gedung Sarana Kegiatan Pendidikan dan Pelatihan
Batuan,” jelasnya.
Dipilihnya SKD sebagai rumah isolasi kata dia, karena dari segi fasilitas dianggap cukup memadai, termasuk jumlah ruangan. Saat ini terdapat 17 kamar yang bisa ditempati sebagai ruang isolasi bagi pasien positif corona.
Disana juga terdapat tiga ruangan untuk perawat dan dokter, dua kamar disediakan untuk ruang cleaning service dan logistik serta satu ruangan khusus. “Kalau fasilitas sudah ready semua, dan apabila ada pasien langsung akan diarahkan kesana,” ungkapnya.
Selain jumlah kamar yang cukup banyak, di SKD Batuan juga memiliki tempat olahraga, tempat untuk berjemur dan juga terdapat tempat relaksasi. Dengan begitu rumah isolasi darurat dianggap lebih nyaman bagi pasien.
“Kalau dari segi tempat, kami kira lebih enak dibandingkan di rumah sakit, kalau di rumah sakit kan masih bercampur dengan pasien lain,” ungkapnya.
