NUSANTARA, (TransMadura.com) – Gempa bermagnitudo 4,9 Skala Richter (SR) kembali mengguncang barat daya Kabupaten Jembrana Bali pada Senin (12/08/2019) sekira Pukul 15:31:23.
Pusat gempa diketahui berada di laut 161 kilometer barat daya Jembrana dengan kedalaman 10 Kilometer dan dirasakan hingga Jember. Gempa tersebut menjadi kali kedua yang dirasakan di wilayah yang sama pada Senin (12/8/2019).
Sebelumnya, gempa sempat mengguncang lokasi yang sama pada Senin (12/8/2019) pagi. Gempa Bali berkekuatan 4,9 skala richter pukul 06.51 Wita. Gempa berpusat di laut pada jarak 189 km arah barat daya Negara, ibu kota Kabupaten Jembrana.
Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah Provinsi Bali menyatakan hingga saat ini nihil kerusakan.
“Sampai saat ini nihil kerusakan, namun kami juga masih terus melakukan pendataan,” kata Kepala Pelaksana BPBD Bali I Made Rentin saat dihubungi.
Rentin menambahkan, gempa kedalaman 68 kilometer tersebut, dengan posisi episenter pada koordinat 9,92 LS dan 113,89 BT, atau tepatnya berlokasi di laut pada jarak 189 km arah barat daya Jembrana.
Setelah gempa bumi yang terjadi pukul 06.51 Wita, juga kembali terjadi gempa susulan pada 06.55 Wita dengan magnitudo 4,4.
Berdasarkan keterangan Kepala Pusat Gempabumi dan Tsunami BMKG Rahmat Triyono, dengan memperhatikan lokasi episenter dan kedalaman hiposenter, tampak bahwa gempa bumi berkedalaman dangkal ini diakibatkan oleh aktivitas subduksi Lempeng Indo-Australia yang menyusup ke bawah Lempang Eurasia.
Hasil analisis mekanisme sumber menunjukkan bahwa gempa bumi ini dibangkitkan oleh deformasi batuan dengan mekanisme pergerakan jenis sesar naik (Thrust Fault).
Dampak gempa bumi berdasarkan laporan masyarakat berupa guncangan dirasakan di wilayah Denpasar, Kuta, Banyuwangi dan Jember II MMI (Getaran dirasakan oleh beberapa orang, benda-benda yang digantung bergoyang).
Hasil pemodelan menunjukkan bahwa gempa bumi ini tidak berpotensi tsunami. Hingga pukul 07.12 Wita, hasil monitoring BMKG menunjukkan adanya tiga kali gempa susulan (aftershocks).
Masyarakat diimbau agar tetap tenang dan tidak terpengaruh oleh isu yang tidak dapat dipertanggungjawabkan kebenarannya.
