SUMENEP, (TransMadura.com) – Pemerintah Kabupaten Sumenep, Madura, Jawa Timur, akan kembalikan lagi Kapal Motor Penumpang (KMP) Dharma Bahari Sumenep (DBS) III, kepada rekanan PT Adiluhung selaku pemenang tender atau lelang untuk diperbaiki.
“Kita jaga seftynya semua, akan dikembalikan, kan masih pemeliharaan harus dikembalikan,” kata A. Busyro Karim, Bupati Sumenep, Rabu, (6/3/2018).
Sesuai laporan yang diterima kata Busyro, sejumlah fasilitas tidak berfungsi dengan baik, seperti AC mati dan getaran terlalu keras sehingga tidak nyaman bagi penumpang.
Namun, orang nomor satu dilingkungan Pemkab Sumenep itu tidak bisa menyebutkan kendala lain. “Getaran terlalu mengganggu, saya tidak ngerti secara teknis,” ungkapnya.
Sebelumnya PT Sumekar akan mengembalikan kapal III karena banyak yang tidak sesuai harapan. Salah satunya mesinnya tidak normal dan AC kapal mati. Saat ini PT Sumekar telah berkirim surat kepada Dinas Perhubungan dan juga Bupati Sumenep A Busyro Karim.
Pengadaan kapal ropeks yang diberi nama DBS III itu anggarannya merupakan co-sharing antara Pemprov Jawa Timur dan Pemkab Sumenep. Totalnya Rp 39 miliar.
Kaapasita penumpang DBS III ini dibagi menjadi tiga kelas. Kelas I 10 orang, kelas II 45 orang, dan kelas III 252 orang. Kapal tersebut baru di launching pada 31 Oktober 2018 oleh Bupati Sumenep A Busyro Karim.
Saat ini Pemerintah Kabupaten Sumenep memiliki sebanyak tiga armada laut, yakni DBS I yang telah lama beroperasi, DBS II yang saat ini mangkrak di pelabuhan Kalianget serta Kapal DBS III yang baru selesai dibuat pada 2018 lalu namun sudah banyak yang rusak. (Asm/Red)
