Gudang PT Garam (Pesero) Kecamatan, Kalianget, Sumenep, Madura, Jawa Timur, dikeluhkan terkait upah pekerja bongkar muat garam. Pasalnya, upah “kuli” tersebut dibebankan kepada petani kristal putih itu.

Hal itu terungkap dari hasil audensi antara aktifis gabungan LSM dengan PT Garam. “Dari hasil aduan yang kami terima, terungkap jika biaya angkut itu Rp 125 ribu per truk. Ini jelas tidak sesuai dengan juknis di PT Garam,” kata Bagus Junaidi, Ketua LSM LAKI Sumenep.
Dia mengungkapkan, biaya angkut ini tentu saja berpengaruh kepada pendapatan petani. Meski mahal, akhirnya yang didapat menjadi banyak berkurang. “Bayangkan, jika masuk ke gudang PT Garam biayanya harus ditanggung petani, ” ujarnya..
Padahal, terangnya, PT Garam memiliki dana yang cukup besar jika hanya untuk mengupah kuli. “Ini sangat menyengsarakan masyarakat. Dan, fakta ini perlu ditinklanjuti. Apakah PT Garam membiarkan ini. Ditambah lagi biaya Bego Rp 50-100 ribu, ” ungkapnya.
Aktifis lain, Syaifuddin menambahkan, konsekuensi yang harus diterima petani, serapan garam yang tidak maksimal oleh PT Garam. “Ini baru sebagian yang kami ungkap. Nanti akan ungkap secara menyeluruh, ” tuturnya.
Kasi Gudang Arif Rahma menjelaskan, soal biaya bongkar muat itu merupakan ranah pihak ketiga. Sebab, itu sudah ada kesepakatan semuanya. “Namun, jika mengacu kepada aturan, ya salah. Karena kami menetapkan Rp 6.250 per ton, ” ujarnya.
Ditanya soal pengawasan, pihaknya menegaskan tetap dilakukan pengawasan, namun dia berdalih jika itu sudah ada kesepakatan. “Soal teknis lainnya, termasuk anggaran, silahkan langsung ke pimpinan, ” tukasnya.
Pantauan di gudang PT Garam, sejumlah sopir truk mengakui jika ada biaya bongkar muat. Di mana per truk Rp 125 ribu, itu kalau sampai 10 ton. Namun, jika satu truk tidak sampai 10 ton, maka biaya yang dikeluarkan per tonnya berarti lebih mahal. (Asm/Red)
