SUMENEP, (TransMadura.com), 6/5/2018 – Plt Kepala BPPKAD (Badan Pendapatan Pengelolaan Keuangan dan Aset Daerah) Kabupaten Sumenep,Madura, Jawa Timur, menghimbau kepada masyarakat untuk membayar wajib Pajak Bumi Bangunan (PBB) tepat pada waktunya.
hal ini untuk menunjang kelancaran pembangunan di kabupaten sumenep. Namun sampai pertengahan tahun 2018 pendapatan PBB di kabupaten sumenep masih sangat minim dari target 4,5 miliar, yang diterima BPPKA hanya 600 juta.
“Jadi membayar pajak kewajiban setiap masyarakat setiap tahun, itupun tidak memandang si A atau si B, itu sama untuk membayar PBB,” ungkap Plt Kepala BPPKAD Sumenep, Imam Sukandi Jum’at (6/5/2018)
Menurutnya, Orang kebiasaan membayar pajak jatuh tempo dan biasa pada bulan november. “Ini kan masih pertengahan tahun, kebiasaan orang bayar pada bulan november,” ungkapnya.
Imam juga mengakui, jika beberapa tahun terakhir banyak masyarakat yang enggan membayar pajak dengan alasan karena telah digratiskan sebagai realisasi janji politik kepemimpinan A. Busyro Karim-Soengkono Sidik.
“Sampai sekarang janji politik itu yang dipegang oleh masyarakat. Padahal di kami (BPPKAD) tidak ada aturan yang mengatur PBB gratis,” tegasnya.
Kendati demikian, pihaknya, saat ini dan kedepan akan terus berupaya memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat bahwa membayar pajak merupakan kewajiban setiap warga Negara dan tidak ada PBB gratis.
“Pajak itu memang sudah menjadi kewajiban, tidak ada PBB gratis, itupun dari masa kerajaan dulu PBB itu sudah menjadi kewajiban dengan membayar upeti, jadi masyarakat harus sadar sebagai warga negara yang baik bayarlah pajak tepat waktu” tandsanya. (Asm)
