Siswa MAN 1 Pamekasan, Madura, Jawa Timur, ditemukan sudah tidak bernyawa akibat tenggelam di Sungai Durbugan, Desa Toronan, minggu (8/4/2018).
Korban bernama Firman Maulana (18) asal Dusun Tomang Mateh, Desa Blumbungan, Kecamatan Larangan, yang masih duduk dibangku kelas XII IPS 2 ditemukan sekitar pukul 09.00 Wib.
“Korban ditemukan dalam kondisi sudah tidak bernyawa disungai Air Terjun Durbugan, Desa Toronan,” kata Koordinator Tim Reaksi Cepat ( TRC ) BPBD Kabupaten Pamekasan, Budi Cahyono.
Pasalnya, menurut Budi Cahyono, kedatangan Firman Maulana, ke sungai air terjun Durbugan itu, dalam rangka untuk belajar berenang di sungai tersebut.
Namun, pada saat korban yang berangkat ke sungai air terjun Durbugan bersama empat teman lainnya dengan mengendarai sepeda motor, malah tenggelam dan tewas.
“Peristiwa tenggelamnya Firman Maulana itu, sekitar pukul 07.00 Wib,” ungkapnya.
Pada saat itu, korban tengah mandi di sungai air terjun Durbugan, naik ke atas tebing dan meloncat dari atas tebing sebelah timur. Tapi korban, langsung tidak muncul lagi ke permukaan sungai.
Sehingga oleh teman-temannya disusul untuk diberikan pertolongan. Namun karena tidak kuat dan akhirnya Korban ( Firman ) terlepas.
Sementara, pencarian korban dilakukan oleh ratusan warga setempat, bersama TNI, Polri, Tagana, Brimob, Banser dan Tim Sar Gabungan.
Sekitar pukul 12.15 Wib, korban berhasil ditemukan dan langsung dilarikan ke Puskesmas terdekat untuk dilakukan otopsi luar, selanjutnya korban langsung dibawa ke rumah duka, pungkas Budi Cahyono.
