Dalam even bertajub “Songennep Jazz dan Culture Festival’ dalam rangka hari jadi Kabupaten Sumenep ke-748 dan sambut visit 2018 di Simpang Odheng Kota Sumenep, Madura, Jawa Timur, pada sabtu 11/11/2017.
Bagian Kesejehteraan Masyarakat (Kesmas) Setdakab Sumenep, Madura, Jawa Timur ikut berpartisipasi ikut dalam Festival ‘Sate Gajah’ yang menjadi khas dari nenek moyang kuliner sate madura yang sudah dikenal diluar daerah.

Kepala Bagian Kesejahteraan Masyarakat (Kesmas) Setdakab Sumenep, Imam Fajar mengatakan, even tersebut ikut mengapresiasi dan merupakan ide kreatif dalam rangka menyongsong Visit Sumenep 2018.
“Kita juga ambil bagian dalam even ini sebagai wujud partisipasi demi suksesnya visit 2018,” terangnya.
Diakui, proses pembuatan ‘Sate Gajah’ atau sate berukuran besar tidaklah muda. Namun butuh teknik khusus agar bisa renyah, gurih, dan tidak gosong, sehingga enak dimakan.
