SUMENEP, (Transmadura com) – Petani di Desa Soddara, Kecamatan Pasongsongan, Kabupaten Sumenep tengah menikmati panen padi dibantu Babinsa Koramil 0827/11 Pasongsongan Koptu Khamim Ardiansyah.
Koptu Khamim mengatakan, panen padi kali ini cukup memuaskan dan menguntungkan para kelompok tani. Karena tanah seluas 1 hektar tersebut menghasilkan sekitar 4 ton padi.
“Panen padi ini berkah bagi petani, hasilnya melimpah,” ujarnya. Jum’at (26/4/2024).
Dirinya menjelaskan, padi yang di panen kali ini menggunakan pola tanam jejar legowo. Pola tanam ini, bertujuan untuk memudahkan perawatan dan pemupukan terhadap tanaman padi.
Pola tanam jejar legowo ini, diterapkan oleh petani di Desa Soddara. Dengan cara seperti ini, maka padi yang dihasilkan berkualitas baik.
“Kalau kita lihat padi yang di panen sudah maksimal, ini memudahkan petani pemupukan, perawatan seperti penyiangan rumput liar,” jelas Koptu Khamim.
Babinsa Koptu Khamim mengungkapkan, panen padi tersebut akan dimanfaatkan oleh petani untuk di jual.
Menurutnya, dengan hasil Panen sebanyak 4 ton tersebut mampu memenuhi kebutuhan ekonomi keluarga.
“Hasil panen ini bisa untuk mencukupi kebutuhan petani. Sebagian ada yang dijual, sehingga bisa memenuhi kebutuhan ekonominya,” ungkap Koptu Khamim.
Ia menambahkan, pihaknya terus melakukan pendampingan. Mulai dari penanaman, perawatan hingga panen.
“Ini tugas kami untuk meringankan beban masyarakat, misal saat penanaman, kalau ada hama burung kita bantu usir, penyiangan hingga panen kita dampingi dengan harapan kita selalu dekat dengan rakyat,” imbuhnya.
