Babinsa Yakinkan Petani Tanam Jagung Silase Mampu Dongkrak Perekonomian

SUMENEP, (Transmadura.con)  – Lahan seluas 0,330 Ha berhasil ditanam jagung untuk silase oleh Babinsa Koramil 0827/06 Saronggi Koptu Evit Priyadi bersama salah satu anggota kelompok tani binaan Bapak Hanafi di Desa Muangan, Kecamatan Saronggi, Kabupaten Sumenep.

bahwa tanam jagung untuk silase, mampu membuahkan hasil yang cukup optimal.

Hal itu, ia sampaikan ke petani di muangan dengan suksesnya petani di desa lenteng timur, Kecamatan Lenteng yang sudah membuktikan menanam jagung untuk silase.

“Jagung silase ini sudah di buktikan di Lenteng Timur, panen dengan masa tanam yang sangat pendek. Biasanya bibit bisa dipanen itu 105 hari, sekarang hanya 80 hari. Itu suatu keunggulan,” ujar Koptu Evit. Jum’at (25/8/2023).

Selain keunggulan masa panen yang cukup pendek, Babinsa Koptu Evit Priyadi menambahkan jika tanam jagung untuk silase itu bisa menambah penghasilan warga Desa Muangan yang berprofesi sebagai petani.

“Hasil panen, itu nanti dibeli oleh pengusaha dengan harga khusus. Kalau luasan lahan 1 hektar bisa dapat Rp 38 juta. Lebih cepat, lebih besar keuntungannya,” jelasnya.

Koptu Evit Priyadi, juga meyakini petani jika tanam jagung untuk silase tersebut, mampu meningkatkan perekonomian petani di Muangan.

“Tentunya ini sangat mensejahterakan petani, kami juga terus mensosialisasikan ke petani yang lain. Ayo kita sama-sama kembangkan tanam jagung dengan metode silase. Ini akan menambah penghasilan, dan membuat pengerjaan pertanian jagung lebih mudah,” pinta Babinsa Koptu Evit Priyadi.
