SUMENEP, (Transmadura.com) – Pemasaran beberapa produk Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) Kabupaten Sumenep, Jawa Timur mulai merambah ke luar negeri, salah satunya diekspor test market produk ke Malaysia.
Bupati Sumenep Achmad Fauzi mengatakan, pihaknya mendukung pemasaran produk UMKM ke luar negeri dalam rangka mengembangkan jaringan pemasaran yang lebih luas, sehingga meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat.
“Kami mengharapkan kegiatan ini menjadi langkah awal dan berlanjut untuk menembus pasar internasional, dalam upaya meningkatkan kesejahteraan para pelaku UMKM di Kabupaten Sumenep,” kata Bupati di sela-sela pelepasan perdana test market produk ke Malaysia, di Kantor Bupati, Senin (05/06/2023) sebagaimana dilansir dari laman website Pemerintah Daerah.
Diharapkan, para pelaku UMKM untuk menjaga kualitas, bahkan meningkatkan mutu produk seperti rasa dan kemasan, karena produk yang baik tentu saja memberikan kepuasan terhadap konsumen serta memiliki nilai jual yang tinggi.
“Manakala, konsumen merasa cocok dengan produk itu, jelas meningkatkan kepercayaan pasar dan memiliki tingkat loyalitas yang tinggi untuk membelinya, sehingga ujung-ujungnya memberikan keuntungan kepada UMKM,” terang Bupati.
Bupati mengungkapkan, para pelaku usaha menggali potensi-potensi produk dan komoditas yang ada di daerah, untuk dieskpor ke luar negeri, utamanya produk turunan daripada bahan mentah agar mempunyai nilai ekonomis lebih tinggi.
“Pemerintah Kabupaten Sumenep berkomitmen memberikan dukungan kepada pelaku UMKM, untuk memperluas jaringan pemasaran hingga ekspor ke luar negeri,” ungkapnya.
Pelepasan perdana test market produk itu, dilakukan Bupati Achmad Fauzi di Kantor Pemerintah Kabupaten Sumenep yang sebelumnya diawali dengan penandatanganan Letter of Intens (LOI) antara pengelola Mall UMKM dengan Buyer Malaysia.
Sementara Kepala Dinas Koperasi Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) dan Perindustrian Perdagangan (Perindag) Kabupaten Sumenep, Chainur Rasyid menambahkan, produk UMKM yang diekspor test market produk ke Malaysia, yakni tepung maronggi, stik maronggi rasa bawang, stik maronggi rasa original, maronggi celup, jagung palotan, rengginang goreng, amplang stik, sambal lombok hijau, sambal petis, keriping pisang manis dan krispy ikan kering.
“Produk UMKM test market direncakan tahap selanjutnya ke Malaysia dan Singapura, hanya saja jenis produknya berbeda dengan ekspor test market produk perdana ini,” tegas dia.
