Seperti saat ini tim uji tanah dari PT. Petrokimia Gersik melaksanakan survey lahan demplot dan pengambilan sampel tanah di lahan di wilayah Kecamatan Lenteng, Kabupaten Sumenep. Selasa (21/2/2023).
Pada kegiatan tersebut menghadirkan para Babinsa dan juga pemilik lahan, bapak Ahyak di Desa Lenteng Timur serta bapak Zainur di Desa Daramista.
Dandim 0827/Sumenep Letkol Czi Donny Pramudya Mahardi, S.E.,M.Si. mengatakan bahwa pihaknya saat ini berkolaborasi dengan PT. Petrokimia Gersik untuk menguji tingkat kesuburan tanah di Lenteng, sehingga bisa mempermudah petani dalam memberikan pemupukan di setiap bidang tanah.
Selain itu sebagai sarana informasi bagi petani di Lenteng, sehingga petani akan mudah memberikan pupuk di setiap tanah yang diuji.
“Selama ini, petani merasa kesulitan dalam memilih jenis pupuk yang akan digunakan, dengan hadirnya mobil uji tanah ini diharapkan mempermudah permasalahan itu,” ujarnya.
Ia mengatakan survey lahan dan pengujian tanah tersebut adalah bagian upaya Dandim dari jawaban keluhan petani di Sumenep seperti di Kecamatan Lenteng terkait kondisi kesuburan tanah.
“Inovasi ini bagian dari upaya kami Kodim 0827/Sumenep untuk mendorong kesejahteraan petani dan mendukung program ketahanan pangan nasional melalui peningkatan produktivitas jagung, diharapkan mampu membantu kegiatan pertanian.” imbuh Dandim.
Sementara itu, Revian pihak dari PT. Petrokimia Gersik mengatakan bahwa pihaknya sangat mendukung program ketahanan pangan tersebut dalam hal ini melakukan pengambilan sampel tanah di Lenteng untuk di uji.
“Kami dari pihak Petrokimia Gersik, ingin uji coba pupuk di lahan tersebut, hari ini kami melakukan pengambilan sampel tanah dulu untuk di uji, supaya mengetahui kadar unsur hara di dalam tanah, supaya nanti pemupukannya berimbang, tidak berlebihan sesuai dosis,” ungkapnya.
Dan dari layanan ini, lanjut Revian “petani dapat mengetahui kandungan tanah di lahannya, sehingga ketika pemupukan akan menjadi efisien dengan hasil yang optimal untuk peningkatan hasil panen,” tambahnya.
Usai melakukan pengambil sample tanah, Dandim berkenan mengajak pihak dari PT. Petrokimia Gersik ke Pabrik Silase di Desa Kertasada Kalianget.
Disana Dandim menjelaskan proses pengolahan jagung dari selesai panen hingga menjadi silase untuk pakam ternak.
