SUMENEP, (Transmadura.com) – Peredaran rokok ilegal di Indonesia terus meningkat. Pasalnya kenaikan tersebut dipicu dengan kenaikan cukai rokok dan lemahnya pengawasan.
“Maraknya peredaran rokok ilegal ini karena lemahnya pengawasan dari pihak bea cukai, bahkan kenaikan cukai rokok,” kata Syauqi, Ketua Aliansi Pemuda Peduli Rakyat (Alpart),
Sebab, menurut Sauqi cukai ini sebagai peranan peranan penting memegang dalam APBN. Salah satunya adalah Cukai Hasil Tembakau atau rokok.
Padahal, sesuai undang-undang RI no 39 tahun 2007, harusnya Bea Cukai lebih maksimal dalam mengawasi peredaran dan produksi rokok ilegal hususnya di daerah Madura.
Banyaknya penangkapan peredaran rokok ilegal asal Madura di sejumlah daerah ahir-ahir ini, hal ini menandakan akan lemahnya pengawasan serta penindakan dari pihak Bea Cukai Madura.
“Harusnya pihak Bea Cukai Madura ini sadar, Bahwa terkait banyaknya penangkapan rokok ilegal asal Madura ini merupakan tamparan keras kepada mereka.” Tegas Syauqi
Sehingga, pihaknya sangat menyayangkan dan kecewa terhadap sikap Bea Cukai Madura yang cenderung acuh tak acuh terhadap persoalan rokok ilegal yang semaki membeludak di Madura ini.
“Beberapa waktu lalu sudah saya sampaikan langsung kepada direktur Bea Cukai Madura, berkaitan dengan temuan saya dilapangan terkait rokok tampa Cukai (ilegal), Seperti GICCO, Dubai dll. bahkan alamat serta no kontak pemiliknya saya kasi. Tapi sayang, sikapnya membuat kecurigaan saya semakin kuat bahwa ada persekongkolan antara pihak Bea Cukai dengan pengusaha rokok ilegal di Madura Ini,” tukasnya.
