SUMENEP, (TransMadura.com) – DPC (Dewan Pengurus Cabang) LPK (Lembaga Perlindungan Konsumen) Kabupaten Sumenep, resmi dilantik. Pasalnya, pelantikan tersebut berlangsung di Ballroom Hotel Asmi timur Taman Bunga.

Acara berlangsung khidmat, dilantik oleh Ketua LPK RI Provinsi Jatim, yang disaksikan sejumlah undangan dari tokoh agama, Tokoh masyarakat dan tokoh pemuda,

Ketua LPK RI Jatim, Dr. H. Muhammad Husen.SE.S.Sos, MM, menyampaikan kepada seluruh jajaran LPK RI di Sumenep agar bisa dan dapat bekerjasama melaksanakan tugasnya dengan sebaik-baiknya.

“Kita harus bisa dan siap bekerja dalam perlindungan konsumen untuk menyetarakan dan menyeimbangkan antara pelaku usaha dan konsumen,” katanya.

Sehingga, yang diharapkan pihaknya, untuk menciptakan iklim usaha yang sehat dan kondusif agar dapatnya terwujud.

“Kehadiran LPK RI disini, bukanlah untuk menjadi ajang penampilan atau tampang, melainkan untuk semua jajaran bisa hadir untuk mewujudkan yang baik,” pesannya.

Ketua DPC LPK RI Kabupaten Sumenep, K. Syafiudin, S.Pd.I, mengatakan, jika LPK RI adalah sebuah Yayasan yg berbadan hukum, yang merupakan amanah Undang- Undang nomor 8 Tahun 1999, serta PP nomor 59 Tahun 2001.

“Harapan kami, seluruh konsumen masyarakat lebih mengerti dan sadar akan hak dan kewajibannya didalam bertransaksi dalam memenuhi semua kebutuhan hidupnya,” ujarnya.

Dalam kesempatan yang sama Sekretaris LPK RI DPC Kabupaten Sumenep H. Safiudin, SH. MH. usai cara prosesi pelantikan mengatakan, prolog singkatnya di acara pemantapan setelah pelantikan menyampaikan 3 peran utama LPK RI Sumenep yakni, perlindungan, mediasi dan advokasi serta litigasi.
