Launching Tabungan Gaul iB oleh OJK (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan) Kantor Regional 4, Asosiasi Bank Syariah Seluruh indonesia (Asbisindo), dan Bank BPRS Bhakti Sumekar, Sumenep, Madura, Jawa Timur, Rabu (18/12/2019).
Acara digelar di Pendopo Agung, dengan program menyasar pada kaum melinial, akronim dari gerakan menabung milenial mulai dari siswa, mahasiswa, hingga kalangan santri di pesatren.
“Kita menginginkan bagaimana para generasi muda di Sumenep setiap pengeluarannya terkontrol. Misalnya ketika jajan dimanapun, bisa terpantau oleh keluarganya. Saya yakin itu bisa dilakukan di era masa kini,” kata Bupati Sumenep di hadapan ratusan kaum millenial yang menghadiri launching tabungan gaul iB itu.
Sehingga, kata Bupati bertujuan tabungan gaul iB ini, agar kaum millenial dapat mengontrol pengelolaan keuangannya. Mereka diharap bisa rajin menabung dengan keuangan yang diberikan orang tua maupun hasil kerjanya sendiri.
Bupati Sumenep dua periode ini berharap, selaku badan Usaha Milik Daerah (BUMD) BPRS Bhakti Sumekar mampu menghadirkan terobosan layanan yang bisa memudahkan nasabahnya khususnya warga Sumenep.
Terlebih, BPRS Bhakti Sumekar adalah BPR/BPRS pertama di Indonesia yang meluncurkan tabungan gaul iB ini. Artinya, dalam hal ini, BPRS Bhakti Sumekar menjadi penoreh sejarah peluncuran tabungan gaul iB.
“ATM tanpa kartu yang di diluncurkan BPRS Bhakti Sumekar lebih ditingkatkan lagi, jika bisa setiap pusat keramaian ada ATM BPRS Bhakti Sumekar. Selain itu pula, tabungan bagi pedagang kecil juga harus lebih ditingkatkan,” ucapnya.
Direktur Pengawasan Lembaga Jasa Keuangan 2 dan Manajemen Strategis OJK regional 4 yang memawahi Jawa Timur, Mulyanto menjelaskan, milenial dalam beberapa tahun terakhir menjadi pusat perhatian.
Millenial menjadi sosok yang dipercaya memiliki ide kreatif dan inovatif yang mampu mendorong sesuatu ke hal yang positif. “Layanan ini sebagai bentuk untuk menjaawab kebutuhan para milenial,” pungkasnya.
