Dinas Koprasi dan UMKM Kabupaten Sumenep, lebih mengutamakan hasil produk Wirausaha Muda Sumenep (WMS).
Produk WMS itu dipromosikan dalam pameran pembangunan Smart City yang digelar Pemerintah Kabupaten Sumenep di Jalan A. Yani lapangan Gor, Sumenep, Madura, Jawa Timur.

“Smart City ini, kita menampilkan prodak UMK Koprasi dan Wira usaha muda. Jadi, kita fokuskan pada prodak-prodak wira usaha muda mulai dari proses dan pembuatan prodak tersebut,” Kata Kepala Diskop Sumenep, melalui Kabid Pemberdayaan dan UMK, Lisa Bertha Sutejo.
Bertha menjelaskan, produk dari hasil wirausaha muda ini, sudah bisa bersaing, sebab para pemuda sumenep sangat antosias untuk mengembangkan usaha demi untuk meningkatkan taraf ekonomi.
“Disini ada batik, konvensi, untuk konvensi itu ada 3 macam, ada songkok, pakaian dan camilan itu yang kami bawa,” tuturnya.
Dia berharap kepada Masyarakat Kabupaten Sumenep dengan adanya Smart City ini bisa mengetahui berbagai hasil prodak WMS.
“Dengan adanya Smart City ini, diharapkan Masyarakat mengerti bahwa Diskop itu banyak binaan yang banyak dan mumpuni,” tukasnya. (Red)
