SUMENEP, (TransMadura.com) — Puluhan siswa dan siswi SMA Plus Nurud Dhalam Desa Bringin, Kecamatan Dasuk, Kabupaten Sumenep, Madura, Jawa Timur, tampak semangat mengikuti Diklat Jurnalistik hasil kerjasama Sekolah dengan Asosiasi Media Online Sumenep (Amos), Senin, (21/10/2019).

Ahmadi Muni, ketua Amos dalam sambutannya menyampaikan, Amos goes to school merupakan agenda pendidikan jurnalistik dengan sasaran para siswa, yang menggandeng sejumlah sekolah di ujung timur pulau Madura.

“Ini agenda kami untuk memberikan pendidikan jurnalistik dasar, selain di sini nantinya akan road show ke sekolah sekolah lain tingkat SMA sederajat,” sebutnya.

Target kegiatan jurnalistik di sekolah ini, bertujuan memberikan pendidikan dasar ilmu kepenulisan, sebagai sarana memberikan ruang bagi siswa yang memiliki hobi menulis, atau juga mereka yang ingin belajar tentang dasar jurnalistik.

“Tujuan road show jurnalistik ini, untuk memberikan pendidikan jurnalistik dasar kepada adik adik siswa yang suka menulis, maupun yang ingin belajar menulis di era digital, dan ini gratis,” tegasnya.

Ahmadi menyambut baik kerjasama lembaga tersebut dengan para jurnalis yang tergabung di Amos. Sebab, tanpa keterbukaan menerima Amos, maka diklat jurnalistik tak akan terlaksana.

“Kami sangat berterima kasih kepada pihak sekolah. Sebab, dengan diklat jurnalistik ini bisa mentransfer ilmu jurnalisme positif kepada adik adik siswa di lembaga ini,” imbuhnya.

Sementara itu, Kepala Sekolah SMA Plus, K. Taufiqur Rahman menyampaikan, sekolah yang berada di pinggiran bahkan pelosok desa, ditargetkan turut berkontribusi untuk kemajuan dunia pendidikan dengan cara mencerdaskan generasi penerus.

“Kami memang ada di kampung, tapi kita tidak ingin kampungan, kita mau memiliki masa depan yang baik,” tuturnya.

Pihaknya berharap, pendidikan jurnalistik ini, dapat bermanfaat dan memberikan pengetahuan terhadap peserta didik.

“Siswa siswi kami ingin mengetahui kemajuan teknologi, kecepatan informasi di media online dan sejenisnya. Kami sadar tidak ada keberhasilan yang instan, semua butuh proses, perlu banyak belajar,” tegasnya. (*)
