SUMENEP, (TransMadura.com) – Guna meningkatkan program Upsus Swasembada Pangan di wilayah binaan, Babinsa Koramil 0827/06 Saronggi Koptu Ach Santoso mendampingi petani panen jagung milik Ibu Fajari Desa Langsar Kecamatan Saronggi Kabupaten Sumenep. Rabu (3-7-2019).
Pendampingan Petani dilakukan oleh seluruh Babinsa Koramil 0827/06 Saronggi di wilayah binaan masing-masing. Pendampingan yang dilakukan Babinsa meliputi pendistribusian bibit dan pupuk, proses pengolahan lahan, penyemaian bibit, perawatan hingga waktu panen.
Tugas pendampingan merupakan tindak lanjut kerjasama antara TNI AD dengan Kementrian Pertanian Republik Indonesia dalam rangka mendukung dan mensukseskan program Pemerintah di bidang swasembada pangan.
Aparat Komando Kewilayahan (Apkowil) di samping tugas pokoknya dituntut untuk ikut bertanggung jawab mensukseskan program swasembada pangan tersebut.
Danramil 0827/06 Saronggi Kapten Inf Sutrisno mengatakan, panen jagung ini guna membantu meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat dan menunjang ketahanan pangan di wilayah Kodim 0827 Sumenep.
“Panen jagung kali ini sangat memuaskan. Diharapkan kegiatan seperti ini dapat menjadi sumber motivasi bagi petani dan masyarakat lainnya untuk lebih giat dan berpartisipasi dalam membantu pemerintah mensukseskan program ketahanan pangan nasional yang saat ini sedang digalakkan,” tutup Kapten Inf Sutrisno.
