Pimpinan Apel menyampikan, bahwa polda jatim beserta jajaran yang dibantu oleh seluruh stake holder di wilayah jatim telah melaksanakan ops ketupat semeru 2019 selama 13 hari terhitung mulai tanggal 29 Mei sampau dengan 10 juni 2019.
“Hal ini dalam rangka pengamanan hariraya idul fitri 1440 h di wilayah jatim,” ungkapnya.
Sehingga pelaksanaan operasi ketupat semeru Tahun 2019 ini, dinilai dapat berjalan lebih baik dari pada tahun-tahun sebelumnya dimana hal tersebut ditandai dengan lancarnya arus mudik dan balik di wilayah jatim.
“walaupun ada beberapa titik yang masih terjadi kepadatan lalulintas seperti di exit tol karanglo Malang dan pertigaan mengkreng. Namun atas kerjasama dari beberapa pihak yang membantu Polda Jatim dalam operasi ketupat semeru tahun 2019, permasalahan tersebut dapat segera teratasi dengan cepat sehingga tidak menimbulkan kemacetan seperti tahun-tahun sebelumnya,” jelasnya.
