Wakil bupati (Wabup) Sumenep, Madura, Jawa Timur Achmad Fauzi meminta siswa SMAN 1 yang baru lulus untuk menjadi orang sukses. Sehingga, harus berpikir optimis dalam menatap masa depan.
Hal itu disampaikan orang nomor dua di lingkungan pemkab Sumenep dalam kegiatan Independensi generasi Purnawiyata Peserta Didik SMAN 1 Sumenep. Disamping wabup, hadir juga kepala Disdik Sumenep Bambang Irianto, Kepala SMAN 1 Sumenep, guru, siswa dan sejumlah wali murid.
Pada kesempatan itu wabup juga berkesampatan memberikan piagam penghargaan kepada siswa berprestasi. Kegiatan itu berlangsung cukup khidmat dan penuh dengan keakraban.
“Jangan pernah merasa puas dengan apa yang sudah diraih. Namun, terus bergerak berpikir positif untuk menjadi sukses, ” kata Wabup Achmad Fauzi dalam sambutannya.

Suami Nia Kurnia ini juga mengungkapkan, pengetahuan dan ilmu yang diperoleh selama mengenyam pendidikan tidak terabaikan, melainkan harus diamalkan. Hal itu akan menentukan masa depan siswa. “Untuk itu teruslah berkarya dan mengukir prestasi. Hindari hal-hal negatif, ” ungkapnya.
Yang lebih penting juga, tambah politisi PDI Perjuangan, siswa yang sudah mau lulus hendaknya tidak melupakan Ibu dan Bapak Guru sampai kapanpun. “Selalu doakan mereka agar tetap sehat agar bisa mengabdi untuk bangsa dan negara, “tuturnya.
