SUMENEP, (TransMadura.com) – Babinsa Jajaran Kodim 0827/Sumenep, salah satunya yaitu Koptu Firdos Junaedi anggota Koramil 23/Giligenting melakukan pengecekan dan monitoring tanaman jagung yang mengalami kendala tidak tumbuh (mati) yang sebabkan oleh hama tanaman diwilayah binaan. Rabu, (23/9/2018).
Kegiatan tersebut dilakukan berdasarkan instruksi Dandim 0827/Sumenep Letkol Inf. Ato Sudiatna melalui Pasiterdim Kapten Inf. Nanang Fadhori kepada seluruh Koramil jajaran untuk melaksanakan pengecekan baik sawah maupun ladang yang tanamannya mulai mengering atau tidak tumbuh dalam hal ini mati yang diakibatkan musim yang tidak menentu.
“Waspadai terhadap penyebaran hama pada tanaman terutama budidaya tanaman padi, jagung dan kedelai (Pajale) diwilayah binaan masing-masing yang mengalami mati yang diakibatkan hama dan terus lakukan pendampingan terhadap petani,” ungkap Pasiterdim Kapten Inf. Nanang Fadhori.
Sementara hasil pantauan dilapangan anggota Babinsa Koptu Firdos Junaedi menemukan lahan ladang yang tanaman jagungnya tumbuh tidak merata yaitu di lahan milik Bapak Untung yang berlokasi di Desa Galis Kecamatan Giligenting Kabupaten Sumenep. Madura-Jawa Timur.
Selain pengecekan dilapangan, upaya yang dilakukan babinsa Koramil 0827/23 Giligenting pada kesempatan yang ada juga menggelar sosialisasi di desa binaan diantaranya Babinsa berikan himbauan kepada warga terkait budidaya penanaman jagung khususnya.
“Ini kita laksanakan guna mendukung swasembada pangan agar semua tanaman baik padi, jagung, kedelai atau tanaman lainnya yang telah ditanam oleh petani dapat menghasilkan panen yang maksimal dan mengantisipasi terjadinya gagal panen,” ujar Koptu Firdos Junaedi.
